I am not a big fan of getting into political discussions, but this topic is one which I feel strongly about and is needful for followers of Christ to be mindful of.
Gen 12:1 Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. 2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
In the news lately there has been much talk of not supporting Israel and the Jews. The scandal with the Presidents of France and our own nation America, speaking with much disrespect and cruelty of the Leader of Israel has stirred up many emotions in me. I keep thinking of the words that so many of the prophets speak about how God would never reject the Jewish people completely. In Zechariah 8 God clearly speaks of a remnant of the People of Israel being dealt with graciously and God being Jealous for them and Zion.
