A year in the life....Gman Style!

Oh Gresham! You are one of a kind! You are such a scamp and you are sensative and kind as well. You love ladies and hugs! You're such a wonder at your ambition and tenacity! I'm excited to see where your inate drive takes you!

You're the one who most closely resembles me physically, and sadly for you that means that you're slender and not super tall! I know Petra being so close in size grates on you, but you won't let her be stronger or more tenacious!

You are so smart! You learn easily (when you apply yourself) and I'm so excited to see you becoming an amazing student!

You bring wisdom and insight to our school bible lessons. You are so special to so many! I rarely ever meet anyone who doesn't love you to bits!

You enjoy games! And being the winner! You love to cream us out and relish the final few moments of any challenge! I'm certain you didn't get your competitive ambition from me!!

The only problem with tenacity seems to be knowing when your reminders have crossed into the land of nag! I know you know what I'm saying!

I love you son! You're my only blond boy! With your ice blue eyes that are thoughtful and reflective! Your constant informative reminders! Your active and strong athleticism. Your sweet kindness to all your siblings! You're the only one who can play easily with every person in this house! I'm amazed at how much you excell at relationships!

I can't wait to see you grow and mature into a more godly leader and kind servant of God! I love you son!

Year in review---> Kace-ee Baby

Oh, Kace! There are so many things I can say! Just the thought of you makes me laugh! You have such a knack of grounding us, keeping us (meaning me) humble, and getting into all sorts of crazy messes!

You're funny, smart and honest! You ask people the things I wish I could and do! I am thankful you ask, without a tinge of embarrassment, people to church and to love Jesus!

You asking the carpet man if he goes to church is probably one of the biggest blessings I've had in months! Especially since it puts me to shame! You're ALWAYS ready to put the God truth out there! No matter what! And you MEAN it! I love you!

You are so passionate about everything!! I mean everything! You don't see much gray areas in life! You ask so many questions! So many I just don't know! Wish I was as smart as you think I am!

You're so ready to face life without fear! You ride your razor super fast no matter how many times you fall! You can run SOOO fast! And soooo far! I'm amazed how you just keep plugging away!

You've really started taking off in reading this year too! You've always been good at math but now you're really starting to read! Chapters of knowledge are opening to you and it's delightful to see you bloom! Especially since you don't learn like your brothers or sister, you learn like me! Sorry bout that!

You're getting so tall and handsome too! I have always thought you would be a total heart breaker with your amazing dark olive skin, your soulful brown eyes and your faint dimples! I can't wait to see you grown up....but NO I can wait! No sense in hurrying up the future!

I wish I could show you that things aren't as serious as you tend to take them! I wish I was more patient or we were less similar! We tend to butt heads more because we are so similar and we take things so seriously! I hope to help you see things less black and white but still encourage you to still be so honest and unprepossessing! Your candor is one of my favorite things about you!

 I wish I could speak to people as frankly as you do and truly have it come from a place of love and concern---just like you do.

I love you Kace. And everyday I'm thankful for you and your life brings me joy! How can we even imagine our lives without our super dodio? Love you, baby!
