Ten years ago....
Ten years ago I walked down the aisle to marry my love! It was a lot harder than it looked! I remember expecting some kind of huge change to occur to us making us 'married'! Well no lightning struck us and we were married! It took a little for us to really feel married at the beginning and now ten years later it seems like I cannot imagine my life separate from his! When we said our vows ( written by the hubs) we had no idea that God would truly conform our lives into the image of what we promised! Our marriage isn't perfect... We still argue and disagree, we get annoyed and impatient and selfish! But I am so thankful for this marriage which has shown me more than any other how to love. So 3652 days later I still love you!

Crazy Doug drive: end of the story...
We arrived in Cali in fine spirits only to find at 11:45 the first night that our girls had caught a terrible stomach flu! So back home to Nevada we came and now one of the boys has the virus and one other boy has a fever while the girls have been laid out all day! Bummer! But it's nice to have a home to be sick in! Needless to say our unpacking is on hold and our bed room is littered with pillows and blankets! Being sick is no fun!

Crazy Doug Drive day7: California
We arrived back where I started from 13 years ago. Came by my old high school and my junior high and the church my parents were married in! It was nostalgic but also made me glad to have a home in Nevada! Our new town in really pretty quiet!

Our New Adventure!!
We were able to visit our new church family last night and hear more of there heart for the ministry and their community! It was exciting to be prayed into our new home! Their faith and hope is already and encouragement to me! We hope years and years of mutual love and growth! I am confident God has truly done all this and it will be for our good! Will post a video of the church soon!
