On February 25, 2007 at 11:58 a doctor asked a daddy on what day he wanted his son to join the world? And a daddy thinking only about the comfort and well being of his wife and child opted for the 25. (really he was only thinking about ease of remembering dates and I was only thinking about needing to push!). The doctor sat down and after only about three pushes little Gresham Jeremiah joined the world.
He was our fastest delivery. Born in under and hour and a half, he joined the world so quickly that we are shocked everyday at how slowly he does many things. He was an easy baby, easy going and sweet. Our friendly company! I remember that after his birth I felt so good (not having any meds because of time constraints) I hopped into the shower and after they had done his apgar tests sat down all dressed in my own pjs to nurse him for the first time, only moments after he was born! It was awesome! Then after we had moved rooms, Will went and got us some Mcdonalds take out and we had a little picnic in our hospital room at 4 am! It was a fun time!
Gresham has grown into an imaginative and caring boy, who knows how to be hard core and fights everyday against being a wimpy kid! He's inclined to whine and yet he's strong and tenacious! We love and apreciate him so much! Thankful that this little reflective and versitile little fella joined the crazy house....giving us all hope we might attain sanity one day!
